College Cooking: Rice Cooker Pasta, Waffle Sandwich & Hummus Recipe

Nisa Burns on The Hampton Roads Show

I filmed another segment for The Hampton Roads Show this week. And as you can see in the photo above, I had a lot of fun serving my hummus to the show’s co-host Chris Reckling. Ha!

This time on the show, I made my Banana Cinnamon Waffles from Kitchenability 101, my Mediterranean Pasta (which can be made in a rice cooker!) and my Easy Hummus recipe.

The theme of this show was definitely all about presenting easy recipes for college students, or for those simply living in small apartments with limited kitchen resources.

Just because you don’t have a full kitchen, it doesn’t mean you get a free pass to eat fast food every night! One of my goals with Kitchenability is to present easy, healthy recipes that even the most novice, dorm room cooks can make.
