Pregnancy Update: Third Trimester Products + Nursery Decorating Ideas
We are getting closer and closer to Eleanor’s arrival (or, her nickname, Ellie), so I am starting to get into nursery decorating and trying to piece all of my ideas together as to where everything should go!
Well, among the semi craziness, I have gotten a few things for her room and one in particular that I love is her amazing and ridiculously soft nursery rug. It is a faux sheepskin rug. With hardwood floors in most of the rooms in our house, this makes it feel a bit more cozy, and I honestly can’t get over how soft it is on your feet! Total score!
Another fun element I decided on was a little fox pillow. I love the brown, ivory, and orange colors. I am trying to keep it a neutral-based nursery — something she can grow into without having to change a lot.
I am also bringing a few whimsical elements in. I love Dr. Suess as well, but nothing too over done! I have a foundation I am working with, and it’s honestly really exciting to start putting it all together as things come along.
I would also like to highlight my favorite product thus far in my pregnancy, which is Burt’s Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter! I am in the home stretch of pregnancy (pun intended!), and there are not enough words to describe the love I have for this product! I have been using it since the day I found out I was pregnant. I use it almost daily and especially after showering. It makes my belly and skin so soft. And I have no seriously visible stretch marks (as of yet). Let’s not jinx anything, ok? I love that it is unscented, easy to rub in, and doesn’t leave a sticky residue. It is my miracle lotion. I love it! I put it on my legs, my sides and all over my belly (basically anywhere you can get stretch marks).
I’ve blogged about this before, but I also couldn’t live without my Snoogle Total Body Pillow
at this point. It is truly the best. As sleeping gets harder, and Ellie decides to flip and twirl at odd hours of the night, this pillow is my life!
