10 Recipes for Refreshing Summer Drinks
With all these hot days, I thought it was time to round up a helpful and refreshing list of some of my favorite summer drinks.
First up is The Kitchenability Arnold Palmer…with a Twist! I blogged about this recipe for Parade Magazine. It blends my recipe for Mint Iced Tea with my recipe for Strawberry Lemonade, which are both amazing summer drinks on their own. Blended together, it just adds delicious to delicious, making a drink that’s just doubly amazing. Try it!
Also, if you are an iced tea fan on its own, you must check out my Homemade Iced Teas Roundup for a hand-picked list of flavorful selections.
If you’d prefer your summertime refreshment to be a bit (or, a lot) boozy, then you must try my recipe for Jungle Juice (pictured), a mixture of fresh fruit juices, vodka and a lot of ice. Or, my recipe for Spiked Blueberry Lemonade. Both are perfect for backyard gatherings and cookouts!
For more summer drinks recipes, here are a few additional samplings from some of my favorite food blogs:
Sangria Swirled Frozen Margaritas (Dessert for Two)
Honey Ginger Lemonade (Gourmande in the Kitchen)
Watermelon Agua Fresa (Simple Bites)
Limoncello Gin Cocktail (The Kitchn)
Sparkling Pineapple Mint Juice (Good Life Eats)
Naturally Flavored Water (The Yummy Life)
If you try any of these recipes, please let me know what you think! I’d love to hear about what you’re drinking to keep cool this summer.
