Hummus is a great, quick, protein-packed snack. It’s easy to whip up in advance in your food processor or blender and then store for quick, portable snacks to chomp on the go. I like to dip cut-up, raw veggies like carrots and celery in mine, or you can scoop it up in some pita bread.

March 9 is National Meatball Day! To celebrate, consider making my Sweet Chili Cranberry Meatballs appetizer recipe. It’s a fun dish for parties that adds a tasty twist to the standard meatball-and-toothpick app. The recipe calls for using frozen turkey meatballs, which I recommend because it will make the dish a lot healthier….which means you can feel good about gobbling up more than one!
