What is Kitchenability?
Hey guys! I am chef Nisa Burns Cochran. I am an author, lifestyle blogger, and foodie.
I ventured into the culinary world in a multitude of different ways, but the one that stuck was sharing my recipes in social media circles. My common sense approach to food soon earned me a lot of awesome fans on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
I am a culinary graduate of the Art Institute of Virginia Beach, and the CEO of Kitchenability, Inc., a company I founded to give novice cooks the confidence and skills to make easy, healthy, and delicious food suited to their lifestyles.
My first cookbook, Kitchenability 101: The College Student’s Guide to Easy, Healthy, and Delicious Food (October 2012), is a carefully curated, no-nonsense recipe collection. Anything but complicated, it offers personal and practical advice to help beginner chefs increase their Kitchenability anywhere.
