Planting peppers for Mothers Day!
Mothers are very important in our lives, and deserve to be treated well on this great day. They gave us life for god’s sake!
So what did you do for Mother’s Day?
You might have taken your mom out to eat if you did…you must have made a reservation, because I worked in the restaurant industry, and Mother’s Day is the busiest day of the year! If you didn’t make a reservation may the force be with you as a say.
If you decided to stay in have a nice dinner like I did with my mom… what did you have or make your mom?
So we decided to garden on mother’s day. It was a lot of fun. It was my first time planting Serrano, and jalapeno peppers! I enjoyed learning from my mother who is an amazing gardener! I cannot wait to see the results of our pepper plant.
I had a lot of fun learning how to properly filter the pots, put down river rocks on the bottom of the pots to help filter the water, and also how far to put the tiny jalapeno seedlings!

I suppose there are diferfent ways to look at it the cooking would certainly blend the flavors effectively, but you’re probably right in that the structural integrity of the individual vegetables would be compromised. Another approach to salsa is to not cook any of the ingredients and let it sit uncooked to mingle flavors. Neither is wrong, just depends on the recipe you consult!
