21 Days of Lemon: The Health Benefits of Warm Lemon Water

So I am trying the 21-day warm water with lemon regiment. I am almost at the 6 month mark to my wedding, and, well, I want to start thinking about how I want to look and feel on my Big Day. I started reading up on drinking lemon water in the morning, and how many great benefits it has for you. I am on day 3 and I plan on trying it for 21 days to see if it helps me.

I have been drinking a warm cup of water with lemon every morning before I eat breakfast. I have been reading about the health benefits of doing this from all sorts of different sources, including this one, a blog called Tasty Yummies.

Here’s what Tasty Yummies has to say:

HOW TO DO IT: You should be using purified water and it should be lukewarm not scalding hot. You want to avoid ice cold water, since that can be a lot for your body to process and it takes more energy to process ice cold water than the warm. Always use fresh lemons, organic if possible, never bottled lemon juice. I squeeze 1/2 a lemon with each glass and I drink it down first thing before I eat a single thing, or workout, etc.

Have you tried drinking warm lemon water in the mornings? What other types of pre-wedding tricks have you tried to lose weight and feel great?
