Morning Sickness Remedies During Pregnancy
Morning sickness has come out of the woodwork and hit me hard the past few weeks! Weeks 12-14… so far.
I have gotten sick not long after waking up, which sucks. It’s no fun when you don’t have much on your tummy, and nothing really is coming up but bile (TMI, I know). But come on, mommies. We are all dealing with this. It’s so hard feeling sick and then right after we have to compose ourselves for the day and act like we didn’t just feel like we got hit with a Mack Truck!
Also, if we get a headache to top it off, we can’t take anything but measly Tylenol….
Oh, pregnancy. The joys of bringing a little one into this world.
So because of my struggles with morning sickness lately, I’ve been on the hunt for the best morning sickness remedies from other mommy bloggers! Some keep a full glass of water and saltines by their bedside, so the minute they wake up they can eat a few to settle their empty stomach. I have also heard ginger works for some….
Anyway, I found a couple of morning sickness remedies I am going to try and figured I would highlight them!
Preggie Pop Drops > These seem easy enough to keep in my car or close by when I need them.
Preggie Pops > They come in the lollipop form as well.
What sets off your morning sickness? Does it just hit you like a ton of bricks? Mine came on suddenly. Brushing my teeth is even hard to get through because of my gag reflex is a little more sensitive. Also, the smell of cocoa butter bothers me. I cannot use the Palmer’s cocoa butter lotion anymore — the smell makes me so nauseous.
Camomile tea seems to help me relax and wind down at night, which is nice
How about you? Do you have any mommy advice on how to combat morning sickness? I’m open to your wise suggestions!
