Banana Cinnamon Waffle Sandwich Recipe
Every day is a good day to cook up and eat some waffles!
This is a great recipe for those of you that are already fans of frozen waffles. Frozen waffles are great to have on hand for those busy mornings when you just want to grab something quick and head out the door.
But, instead of having them plain, take a couple of extra minutes to follow the recipe below. The peanut butter, banana, cinnamon and honey will add some extra energy-fueling nutrients to your meal. And, it’s really, really, really tasty. I promise.
Introducing: The Waffle Sandwich
This amazing breakfast sandwich takes less than 5 minutes to make and can be wrapped up and eaten on the go.
- 2 frozen waffles of your choice
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- ½ a banana
- 1 tsp honey
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- Toast the waffles to desired doneness.
- Spread peanut butter on one side of each waffle.
- Slice banana into ¼-inch rounds.
- Place banana on top of your layer of peanut butter, sprinkle with cinnamon, and then drizzle with honey.
- Place the other waffle on top to make a sandwich and enjoy!
