Grammys Party: Pomegranate Martini Recipe
Yep, Awards Season just keeps on keepin’ on. This Sunday night (February 10), all of the Hollywood movie awards mayhem is put on hold and instead we get to celebrate some of the best of the best in the music industry at the Grammys.
I, for one, will be watching in my jammies. But, I will be watching in my jammies with a cocktail, which should really class up my otherwise fairly mundane Sunday night of TV watching.
My cocktail du jour is the pomegranate martini, which, for those of you that own my book, Kitchenability 101, you’ll recognize as The Chelsea Handler. (Yep, it’s named after one of my favorite funny ladies, who, as some of you may know, was on a bit of a Belvedere vodka kick for a while there.)
I hope you enjoy the show! (and a couple of these cocktails!)
Pomegranate Martini Recipe
(also known as The Chelsea Handler)
- 1 oz sweet vermouth
- 1 oz Belvedere vodka
- 2 oz pomegranate juice
- 1 lime slice
1. Mix the vermouth, vodka and juice together, shake it up and serve in a martini glass or over ice
2. Garnish with a lime
