Inexpensive, DIY Home Decor Ideas
Spicing up any space in your home can be a bit of a challenge.
When my husband and I first bought our home, we didn’t have a lot of extra money to spend on fancy furniture or nice decor, but we made do with what we could afford.
My family gave us a not-so-glamorous couch, which I put a slip cover on, threw some nice decorative pillows on and — voila! — brand new! I have also re-used an old chair that was in my grandmother’s home for a long time and spruced it up with a nice pillow and a foot stool.
Decorating can get expensive, so that is why sometimes getting creative and thinking outside the box is so great!

That’s true that putting a slip cover over our ugly couch might be a good idea. We were given a pale pink couch. Seriously, it is very eye catching, so putting something over it would be doing us a favor. I’m excited to make my living room look the way I want it to.
