We all have those days when we stare into our fridge asking, “What do I want to eat?” “What do I make for dinner?” And we just stand there and stare and stare and wonder and stare.

That happened to me the other night, and it compelled me to take the photo above.
What my fridge answered with was an improvisational white pizza recipe that incorporated leftovers and whatever else I had on hand…in the fridge.
Our pizza toppings included: ricotta cheese, Italian cheese, basil, leftover steak and sun-dried tomatoes. And it was delicious! We really managed to make something amazing out of what, at first glance, looked to be nothing.
So, I’m curious: What kinds of experimental meals have come out of your fridge lately? Please leave a comment below and let me know all of the crazy, cool and interesting dishes you’ve made on those night’s when you stare into your fridge asking it for inspiration. I’d love to hear from you!
