After a long night of my puppy not going to sleep (crying and whining) and, well, being a puppy…I woke up exhausted. I couldn’t just crawl back in bed the next morning, because I had work to do. And, I didn’t want to just pump my tired body with caffeine and empty carbs. So, I concocted this green smoothie and man was it great. It gave me the nutrients and energy I needed for the day. It was awesome.
If you don’t have a blender, I highly recommend getting one. All you have to do is put your ingredients in….and hit blend.
Then, pour in a portable cup, like my reusable sipper from Starbucks, and you’re ready to go…

Kale Banana Smoothie Recipe
- 1 handful kale (about a cup and 1/2)
- 1 banana
- 1 cup ice
- 1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
- 1 cup low fat milk
1. Place all in a blender and blend, and….that’s it!
