BBQ Season Has Begun: What’s the Best Food to Grill?

Spring is here finally here in Virginia Beach and boy do we beach dwellers love the spring and summer.

There are a few things I really, really look forward to when the 70ish-degree nights come. And the number one thing I look forward to is grilling out, and eating out on our patio.

The other night, we did just that. It was nothing too fancy — just some yummy steaks, potatoes and asparagus cooked out on our grill.

In addition to loving the taste of grilled eats, I also love the reduced clean-up, since you’re not having to dirty up a bunch of cookware for the most part.

We have a charcoal grill because my boyfriend Billy refuses to use gas. He likes the process of firing up the coals and loves the unmatched smoky flavor charcoal adds to the food that a gas grill lacks.

Anyhow, hopefully it’s getting warmer where you are, too. I highly suggest getting your grill cleaned up and ready for another awesome season of outdoor dining!
