Easy Chocolate Mousse

Author:
Ingredients
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • 2 oz of melted unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
  1. First, place the heavy whipping cream in a bowl fitted with a mixer, or use a hand egg beater.
  2. Beat the whipping cream till soft peaks form.
  3. Add in the sugar, vanilla and salt (Note: Don’t over mix; the mixture will turn into butter if mixed too much).
  4. Fold in the chocolate with a rubber spatula (To "fold," scoop the whipped cream mixture up and under, incorporating the chocolate throughout).
  5. Chill or freeze till it's time to serve (about 30-40 minutes in the fridge).
  6. Top with whipped cream and enjoy!
