I made my first-ever chutney recently, which I originally blogged about at Parade Magazine. It was a blackberry chutney, which I made as a topper for some homemade pimento cheeseburgers. Delicious!

To assemble your burgers, spread a little pimento cheese on each side of your burger bun. Spoon a little bit of the blackberry chutney on top of the pimento cheese on the bottom bun. Then, place your cooked burger patty on the bottom bun, add the top bun, close and enjoy!
